Get to know Yicensen
A metal platform.
More than one profile.
Yicensen’s Amazon range includes metal platform beds, frames with integrated headboards, bunkie boards and box-spring foundations.
Its rounded-leg platforms come in a wide choice of heights. That makes the first decision less about decoration and more about everyday use: how you get into bed, what you store below it and whether you want a headboard built in.
The brand story / Design choices
The details that
shape the range.
Round the outline.
Rounded front corners appear across the platform designs featured here. They soften the frame’s silhouette around the foot of the bed. Keep enough walking space around the metal legs, whichever profile you choose.
Choose the elevation.
The bare-platform family spans very low and extra-tall options. A lower frame keeps the mattress closer to the floor; a taller one can make room for luggage and larger storage containers.
Build in the backrest.
Yicensen also offers frames with a metal headboard included. These are a separate choice from the bare rounded-leg platforms: the 4-inch and 24-inch Queen listings say a headboard cannot be installed.
Three Queen-size starting points
Low. Framed.
Or lifted.
Three examples show how the brand changes the bedroom experience without changing the Queen mattress size.

01 / Low platform
Keep the bed closer.
The 4-inch Queen is a low starting point for a thick mattress or a room where you want less visual height. Its listing does not support adding a headboard.

02 / Headboard included
Finish the silhouette.
The 14-inch Queen pairs a raised platform with a built-in metal headboard. The headboard takes the listed overall height to 39.7 inches. Check the available condition and seller options.

03 / Tall storage platform
Use the space below.
The 24-inch Queen’s product image shows 22 inches of under-frame clearance. Measure your containers and the openings between the legs, then check the finished bed height.

Plan the finished bed
The mattress adds
another layer of height.
Start with the height of the mattress-support surface, then add your mattress and topper. These planning examples use the advertised platform heights with the same 10-inch mattress.
A low profile that changes how far you bend to sit down or stand up.
A middle option, with the headboard extending above the platform.
A much taller sleeping surface. Compare it with a bed you already find comfortable.
Use the actual support-surface measurement for your final calculation. Headboard height is not the height you sit on.

Make the room work
Measure the opening.
Keep the walkway.
- 01 / Fit the container, not just its height.Include lids, wheels and handles. Legs and braces divide the space, so the full mattress footprint is not one open storage bay.
- 02 / Leave room to pull things out.A bin that fits underneath still needs space beside the bed to slide out. Check the door swing and bedside furniture.
- 03 / Match the mattress support.Compare slat spacing and center support with your mattress maker’s requirements. A thin mattress can feel different over the center rail.
- 04 / Choose the headboard at the start. If you want a headboard, compare the integrated-headboard models instead of assuming the bare frame has mounting holes.

Check the parts
before the bedding.
Inspect the finish, labels, fasteners and mating holes as you unpack. Lay out the pieces beside the model’s instructions before starting. If a part is bent or a connection does not line up, use the seller-contact options for your order to resolve it.
Once assembled, make sure the support legs contact the floor and check the fasteners as instructed. Keep the instructions and model details for future moves or replacement-part requests.
Yicensen FAQ
Questions before
you choose.
Is Yicensen a good bed frame brand?
Yicensen offers useful choices if you want a metal platform with rounded corners or an unusually low or tall profile. Buyer feedback includes convenient storage and easy assembly, alongside reports of finish damage, fit issues and mattress-support concerns. Compare the exact model with your room and mattress rather than relying on a brand-wide score.
Can I attach a headboard to a Yicensen frame?
The 4-inch and 24-inch bare Queen platforms featured here explicitly list “Cannot Install Headboard.” Yicensen also sells complete frames with integrated headboards, including the 14-inch Queen shown above. Check the specific listing before choosing accessories.
How much storage fits under the 24-inch Queen?
The product image shows 22 inches of under-frame clearance. Container width and depth also matter: supports and braces interrupt the space. Measure the opening you will actually use and leave room to pull the container out.
Does a Yicensen bed frame need a box spring?
The three platforms on this page are listed for use without a box spring. Your mattress still needs suitable slat spacing and support. Yicensen also sells separate box-spring foundations and bunkie boards; those are different products from a freestanding platform bed.
Is a 24-inch bed frame too high?
Add the mattress and any topper before deciding. A 24-inch support height with a 10-inch mattress would put the sleeping surface around 34 inches above the floor. Compare that total with a bed you find easy to use; a lower platform may be more comfortable for your daily routine.
Are all Yicensen bed frames quiet?
Experiences vary by model, assembly and use. Some buyers describe a quiet frame; others report movement or squeaking. Assemble to the supplied instructions and inspect connections and floor contact if noise develops. Resolve damaged or poorly fitting parts with the seller.
Where can I buy Yicensen and request parts?
Use the Yicensen Amazon store to explore current models and buying options. For an existing order, use Amazon’s order details and seller-contact options. Have the ASIN, part labels and clear photos ready when asking about a replacement component.
